CDR Release
'The Listening Project (Listening to this space)' is a limited edition CDR release, produced as a catalogue of ideas and works at play in a residency of the same name, at the Slade Research Centre (2006). The CD features the work of Dale Berning, Takahiro Kawaguchi, Tetsuya Umeda and Duncan Whitley.
Background
'Listening to this Space' was a research project focusing on space in sound and the idea of listening in a particular place, curated by Yuu Takehisa and Dale Berning. Artists Dale Berning, Takahiro Kawaguchi, Tetsuya Umeda and Duncan Whitley were invited to take part in a 10-day residency at the Slade Research Centre, presenting live performance, installation and playback of recordings at a final public event in May 2006.
